So, Fisker is recalling 8,204 Ocean SUVs because the door handles can stick and fail to open, and dealerships have been told to stop selling them until they’ve been inspected.

- NHTSA warns this is a serious safety risk, imagine needing to exit in an emergency and the door won’t open.
- Fisker says they’ll replace the door handles for free, with recall letters going out by the end of August.
- Meanwhile, getting Fisker to answer the phone has been... frustrating.

Has anyone heard from Fisker about scheduling repairs? If you’ve had door handle problems, did “dry lube” help at all, or is a full replacement the only solution?

Yikes, that’s a huge safety issue! Hope they sort it out fast. Honestly, I’ve been lucky with my door handles, never had a problem. Fisker better get their act together and step up with better customer support too.

Fisker’s response time hasn’t been great, so hopefully, replacements happen quickly. Has anyone successfully scheduled a fix, or is communication still an issue?
