I’ve been experimenting with ways to conserve 12V energy on my Ocean, especially after noticing some quirks with the lighting system on Version 2.1. Here’s what I’ve figured out so far, but I’d love to hear your tips as well!

Headlight Settings: I noticed that when I manually turn off the headlights at night and lock the car, the front and rear lights stay on for quite a while (about 10 minutes or more). To avoid this, I’ve started keeping the headlights on “Auto” mode, it seems to help conserve power after locking up.

Interior Lights: Make sure all interior lights are off after you exit. I’ve had a few times where a door light stayed on longer than expected. It’d be great if Fisker could add an update that automatically shuts off all lights and screens, including the PRND selector light, when the car is locked. Fingers crossed for something like this in Version 2.2 or 3.0!

Charge Port Door Trick: If you really want to go the extra mile, you can try this: Open the charge port door, then close all other doors and lock the car. Wait for at least 10 minutes before closing the charge port door. This seems to help ensure the car is in a low-power state.

These are just a few things I’ve been trying, but I’d love to know, what are your best energy-saving tips?

For conserving the 12V energy, I also suggest disabling any unused accessories or features like heated seats when not needed.
