Regenerative braking

I'm kinda worried about wearing out the brakes on my EV. I heard the "high" regen setting uses the regular brakes too, which seems weird. Should I just use "medium"? What do other EV drivers do to make their brakes last longer?

This is not how regen braking works. The only thing that has to do with it is the electric motor. So, you should not be worried about the wear of the pads. I hope I have clarified this for you.

High regen mostly relies on the electric motor, not the physical brakes. It actually reduces brake wear, I use high regen and rarely touch the brakes.
