I’ve been following discussions and noticed a trend about the Fisker Ocean’s 12V battery running into issues when left unused for extended periods. Is it safe to assume that if you’re away for a week or two, you might come back to a dead 12V battery?

Has anyone had their Ocean sit idle for longer than two weeks without any trouble, or is this a common problem? I’d love to hear from those who’ve tested this during vacations or extended trips.

Seems like the car is constantly waking up every few minutes at night, probably scanning for updates or doing who knows what else, which definitely takes a toll on both the 12v and HV batteries. I've noticed that when my car has these "insomniac" nights, the state of charge (SOC) can drop by as much as 7%. I haven't checked the 12v battery's health closely, but I’m pretty sure it's draining as well.

From my experience, it tends to last about a week, maybe a bit more. However, it should remain inactive while not in use. It can handle updates and other tasks when it's being driven. My biggest frustration with the car is the constant drain, losing 5% battery every day adds up quickly.
