7000 miles in 4 months: replacing Fisker tires?

My Fisker's front tires needed to be replaced right away because they had worn smooth after 7000 miles in just four months. Since Fisker was unable to fulfill their promise of free tires, I had to find alternatives on my own. Costco was offering a discount of $60 off four items at $320 each, but they did not have the Fisker jack converters. Luckily, my Rivian pucks functioned, and Costco provided first-rate service using the manual's recommended torque setting of 150 Nm. Although this worked for me, it's not advice; it's simply my experience.

I had a similar experience with my Fisker. The front tires wore out quickly, so I replaced just the fronts with the exact same ones as the originals.

Costco gave me $60 off, and the new tires now come with a 40K-mile warranty. I also missed rotating mine at 6K miles, which likely contributed to the wear. Overall, Costco's service was excellent, and it is great they used the manual's torque specs.

Hopefully, Fisker will honor their promises once things stabilize. We’re still loving our FOO and have high hopes for its future!

Fisker mentioned supply chain issues, which prevented them from fulfilling the free tire replacement promise. glad everything worked out with the Rivian pucks.

Fair point, spirited driving does contribute to tire wear. I’ll keep that in mind, though alignment and tire quality also play big roles.
