Has anyone had their visor mirror fall out?

Whenever my car gets hot and I leave the sunshade in place with the visor down, the mirror falls out. I’ve tried several types of double-sided tape, fabric, clear, and 3M, but none lasted more than a couple of weeks. I’m considering a stronger magnet, but since there’s a PC board in the visor, I don’t want to risk using super glue. Has anyone else had this issue and found a long term fix?

I had the same issue with min, the mirror kept falling out, especially in the heat. I eventually pressed all around the edges, gently tucking the mirror past the visor edges. It hasn’t fallen in over a month now. I agree the magnet seems too weak, but positioning it just right made a big difference for me. Might be worth trying before using stronger adhesives.

Have you considered using a mounting adhesive specifically designed for heat resistance, or perhaps a custom visor clip?

I’ll give repositioning the mirror a try before resorting to adhesives. It’s worth a shot to avoid using anything too strong. Thanks

That’s a smart idea, I haven’t tried a heat-resistant mounting adhesive or a custom clip yet. I’ll look into those options.
