Has anyone else experienced this horrifying ordeal? I left my key fob inside my Fisker, closed the door, and activated charging. The car then proceeded to lock itself, leaving me stranded outside. The phone app was completely useless, and I had to resort to opening the liftgate manually.

I'm incredibly fortunate that I was with a friend, as this could have been a disastrous situation, especially if my family was with me. Has anyone else had similar issues with the Fisker's auto-lock feature? Any tips on how to prevent this from happening again?

Did you try unlocking the car with your phone?
 
He said the phone was completely useless. I guess this is what he meant. I am more curious about how he managed to open the liftgate. How was the hatch opened?

I haven't experienced that myself, but I'm curious to know how you handled the situation.
