Fisker Ocean Sport shifting problem

I'm having difficulty shifting out of park! I can only move the gear shifter if I press on the dash button. Is this a normal safety feature?

You're absolutely right, it's a safety feature. It happens because you didn't wear your seatbelt right away, that's why you have to press the button first. All you have to do is put your seatbelt on right away the moment you sit and then you're good.

That does sound like a safety feature, many EVs require specific actions, like pressing a button or holding the brake, to shift out of park. If you’re not getting any error messages, it’s probably working as designed. Double-check the manual or consult Fisker’s support team to be sure.

Yeah, that's the way. When I had this issue, I figured it out after two weeks... imagine that.
